Delete Your Aeriscope Data

Effective date: August 13, 2026

You can permanently delete your Aeriscope account and the data associated with it at any time.

How to delete your account

Sign in to Aeriscope.
Open Settings → Account.
Choose "Delete account," type DELETE to confirm, then confirm again.
Your account is deleted immediately — there's no separate emailed confirmation step.

Can't sign in, or prefer not to? To request deletion of your Aeriscope account and associated personal data, contact us using the support contact below from the email address associated with your account.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

Your Aeriscope account and profile (name, email, bio, time zone, avatar)
Your saved preferences (home location, temperature unit, interests)
Your default flight origin
Your notification preference
The record linking your account to any social sign-in provider you connected

If you signed in with Apple. We also ask Apple to revoke Aeriscope's authorization on your account as part of deletion, in addition to removing our own copy of that connection.

Device-based data. Watched flights and their notifications are currently tied to an anonymous identifier stored on your device/browser rather than to your account directly. Clearing your browser's cookies, or asking us to delete this data via the contact below, removes it independently of account deletion.

What deletion doesn't cover

Deleting your Aeriscope account does not delete data held independently by other services, including:

Google, Meta/Facebook, or Amazon — your account with them is unaffected
Public weather, aviation, and camera data providers (e.g. NWS/NOAA, FAA, AviationStack)
Other third parties you separately shared data with

You can separately revoke Aeriscope's access from within your Google, Facebook, or Amazon account settings (under "Apps" or "Connected apps/services") at any time — this is independent of, and in addition to, deleting your Aeriscope account.

Timing

Account deletion takes effect immediately once you confirm it in Settings. See our Privacy Policy for how long data is otherwise retained.
