Aeriscope Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Aeriscope (the "Service"), an informational weather, flight-disruption, and live-camera application. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. An informational service

Aeriscope aggregates public weather data, model output, flight data, and live camera feeds to help you plan around the weather. It is provided for general informational purposes only.

• Forecasts, consensus values, and confidence scores are statistical estimates. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, or change without notice as new data arrives.
• Flight disruption risk assessments are predictive estimates derived from weather and public flight data. They are not an official flight-status determination, and are not a substitute for information from your airline or airport.
• Nothing in Aeriscope is a substitute for official navigation, safety, or regulatory information from the FAA, NWS, NOAA, the U.S. Coast Guard, your airline, your airport, or other authoritative sources. Aeriscope does not provide certified aviation or marine navigation services.
• Live camera imagery may be delayed, cached, or temporarily unavailable, and should not be relied on for real-time conditions.
• Third-party data sources the Service depends on may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable at any time, for reasons outside our control.

You are responsible for your own safety-critical decisions. Do not rely on Aeriscope as your sole source of information for decisions involving safety, travel, or navigation.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the accounts and sign-in methods linked to your Aeriscope account (email/password, Google, Facebook, or Amazon), and for keeping access to them secure. You may delete your account at any time — see Delete Your Aeriscope Data.

3. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service — this includes automated scraping or abuse of the underlying data sources, attempts to circumvent authentication or rate limits, interfering with the Service's operation, or any unlawful use.

4. Intellectual property

The Aeriscope name, logo, and application design are owned by us. Underlying public weather, aviation, and camera data remain the property of their respective providers (e.g. NWS/NOAA, FAA) and are used subject to their own terms.

5. Service availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times — upstream data providers, infrastructure, or maintenance can affect availability.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aeriscope and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including damages resulting from inaccurate forecasts, delayed camera imagery, missed flight disruptions, or decisions made in reliance on the Service.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Service or other users.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
